In late autumn, some woodland paths are scattered with fallen crab apples in various stages of ripeness and decay. I am drawn to the contrast between their brilliant greens and the muted backdrop of rotting leaves.

My camera isolates these opposing hues, revealing colour relationships that I use to articulate the curves in this multi panel piece.
Printed on Hahnemühle German etching, bonded onto 3 panels, 565mm x 350mm and matt varnished with UV protection. Overall fitting into - 915mm square.
