Portraits in Stone and River Weed

Zoë and Hannah arranged these stones from the river Croesor in Wales near to our holiday cottage. They picked them from the bed of the river and together with some weed they made portraits of themselves.

The boulder, on which they made their sculptures, sits by the river, and is witness to the sounds of the swift waters and the buzzards that soar overhead in the valley.
