Ammonite Seen in Wall of House!

Near to where we live, we pass by this house with an ammonite built into the wall. Presumably, this was found at the time the house was built. I reckon the house (or this wall anyway) is 200 years old. The ammonite must be millions of years old. Any geologists want to explain this to me?
