The Rythmn of Life. The 2 girls took part in this show organised by their Ballet Academy.
Zoe was in the Summer section and Hannah took part in the piece Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend.
A brilliant show but the girls were exhausted after 3 performances this weekend.

Hannah’s turn to lose some teeth.
The tooth fairy has just recieved an exchange for one of her front teeth. The losing of milk teeth is a kind of measure of time passing and growing up. The tooth fairy has a good collection from us and, like tree rings, can be used to define time.
Why is it though, that we don’t go on getting new teeth as we get older? Would it not be a good move by ‘mother nature’ to provide our jaws with new teeth as we need them!

Not so expensive as I thought.
It wasn’t the gearbox but the ‘controller’ - some electronic device that determines when the gears will change on an automatic car. This still cost a lot to replace but took a long time to track down.
During my discussions with the mechanics, I was reminded of the process for finding a bug in software. Still, at least we made it home, unlike the VW that you see in this photo!

Returning from our trip to Germany, our automatic gearbox on the VW failed us.
I couldn’t get 4th gear after we stopped for petrol near to Brussels. We had to crawl our way to Calais because no help could be found. Surprisingly, the gears seemed to work from Dover after a 2 hour rest. The worst moment was getting lost in Dunkirk becasue we were trying to avoid the motorway.
Car now at the doctor’s and I am expecting a large bill.

During a rebuild of the kitchen, I let go a piece of the demolished kitchen counter.
The result is a very sore toe. I still am continuing with the rebuild because we are without running water in the kitchen. More work to be done, but limping badly!
